As I scroll through the posts on my Facebook newsfeed this week, it is so heartening to see all the posts, posters and quotes related to being thankful.
Along with my family, friends, job, and volunteer connections, I am thankful for all the websites, blogs, and individuals I have found who help me learn more about social media.
For me, the top of that list is the Social Media Examiner, my daily source of the most up to date information on what’s happening in the social media world. They publish a daily newsletter including links to their posts as well as relevant industry news.
Quoting from their website http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/
“Social Media Examiner, the world’s largest online social media magazine, is designed to help businesses discover how to best use social media tools like Facebook, Google+, Twitter and LinkedIn to connect with customers, generate more brand awareness and increase sales.
With more than 500,000 monthly readers, Technorati and AdAge rank Social Media Examiner as one of the world’s Top 10 business blogs. Our more than 180,000 email subscribers look forward to our daily original content.”
Their leadership team reads like a “who’s who” of social media:
- Founder and CEO Michael Stelzner
- Director of Editorial Cindy King
- Events Director Phil Mershon
- Community Manager Andrea Vahl
- Advisor Mari Smith
The articles this week on Pinterest and Facebook are representative of the accessible and practical tips that I find in every article I read.

So glad you caught my post so quickly, Raj! I highly encourage you to subscribe to the Social Media Examiner’s daily newsletter. At times the amount of informatin is almost overwhelming, so I have a system of sorting the articles by topic for later reference. Always good to hear from you. 🙂
Joyce – I am thankful for loyal readers like you that make all the hard work we do worthwhile.
Thanks for your kind words.
Mike
Michael, you are most welcome. In this season if thanks, it is a good time to honor those who provide us the valuable information we need to run our businesses.
