Ever get frustrated while trying to do something on Facebook because you can’t figure out where the tool to do what you want to do is located?

One reason that may be happening is that some of the tools are actually hidden! Really, you can’t see them until you hover your cursor over the relevant section. Typically that section is located in the top right-hand corner of whatever it is you want to manipulate.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why Facebook doesn’t make these tools more obvious, but then there are a lot of things about Facebook that are don’t seem to make sense.

Some of the Things You Can Do with Hidden Tools

  • Remove a post from your newsfeed
  • Stop following a friend
  • Hide all posts from page from which a friend has posted something
  • Hide an ad
  • Hide all ads from a particular page
  • Edit or delete a post
  • Edit or delete a comment
  • Delete a photo
  • Remove a tag
