All of us with Facebook business pages would like those pages to receive more likes. Yet, it can be frustrating to get more Facebook business page likes if you don’t know how to do this.

Having more people like your page, leads to more people seeing your posts. This can be good for business. Yet, many people aren’t sure how to make it happen.

There are a number of strategies you can use, including requesting that people like your page via Facebook and email.

 

Invite Your Facebook Friends to Like Your Facebook Business Page

• Start by clicking on the arrow to the right of the word “More” just below your cover photo. You will see a number of options. Click on “Invite Friends.”

• Start by scrolling through the list. If you see someone you think would like your page, click on the word Invite.
• When you are done, click on the button that says “Close.”
• Or, click on the arrow to the right of the words “Search all Friends” at the top of the screen.
• Now click a city to select only friends who live there.
• When you are done, click on the button that says “Close.”
• Or, you can also invite friends who are in a Facebook group with you. Select the group and follow the same process.
• Please note that you can only invite a person once. There is no system for re-inviting them to like your page.

Share Your Facebook Business Page

• Find this option the same way you found the Invite Friends option.
• Click on the word “More” and then click on the word “Share.”
• When you do this, you have the option of sharing your business page with your Facebook friends via a post that will appear in their newsfeeds.
• Give your Facebook friends some reasons them to like your page, such as the tips you provide. Then click on the “Post” button.
• You can ask a Facebook friend to like your page by clicking on “Share in a Private Message.”
• Give your Facebook friends some reasons them to like your page, such as the tips you provide. Then click on the “Post” button.
• You can also share your business page with members of a Facebook group you belong to. To do this, click on the arrow to the right of the words “Share on Your Own Timeline.”
• Then click on “Share in a Group.” Type in the name of the group, and when the name appears in a box, click on it.
• Again, give reasons for members of your group to like your page.

 

Send an Email Asking People to Like Your Business Page

• Write emails to your clients, referral partners, and others who you think would be willing to like your business page.
• Give them some reasons them to like your page, such as the tips you provide.
• Include the URL for your Facebook business page.
• Ask them to like your page.
